Can't believe it's March, this weather makes it feel like it's still January! The good news is that Spring can't be far off now - right?
Speaking of Spring... once the grass begins to 'green up' and the trees begin to bud, it'll be a great opportunity for an outside family portrait or if you grown ups are quite up to that yet - kids are always ready to smile for the camera!
New Kent Elementary School will be having their Spring Carnival on Saturday, March 27th from 11 to 3. Hope to see you there, be sure and stop by to say hello!

For those of you who don't know me, I'll give you a quick overview. I've been in business for 15 years. We have lived in New Kent County for almost 5 years now. Before our move here, we lived in Goochland County for many years.
I am married to an angel. I am also blessed with a son I'll NEVER trade in and the bonus of a wonderful step-son. My sweet Mom passed away one year & that has had a profound affect on me. The four legged member of our family has been with us and is almost 14 years old! I am a proud Hokie and my favorite color is red.
My love is taking photos of people! Ever since high school -it's been a passion that I never dreamed would one day become my profession. My life has been blessed in so many ways.
I LOVE to get to know my clients! In fact, it sounds odd for me to be calling many of my clients, clients. I have gained so many friends over the years.
This year has been a special one for me in that a few of the babies I've been photographing throughout the year have turned ONE YEAR OLD! It's awesome to see how they have each grown over the year. And looking at back at their infant photographs - that are frankly not that old, is really amazing! They come here for the first time practically fitting in the palm of their Dad's hand and now they WALK!!
Some of these are the children of couples whose weddings I photographed! I am SO touched to be asked to continue documenting their lives - thank you from the bottom of my heart!
